Planocarpa sulcata section
Cross-section of Planocarpa sulcata (grooved cheeseberry) stones revealing seeds. Many of the "fruited" heaths of Tasmania bear multiseeded stones.
Genera include Planocarpa, Leptecophylla, Cyathodes, Monotoca, Lissanthe, Leucopogon and Acrothamnus.
Most of the species in these genera have maximum of 5 seeds per stone but Planocarpa species frequently have more (as can be seen here). Montoca species, on the other hand, usually only have only one seed per stone.
