Heart & Soul Nebula

The Heart and Soul Nebula with the Perseus Double Cluster (bottom left) captured from my back garden in Torquay.

The nebulae are around 7500 light years away and are around 600 light years wide and are made up of mainly hydrogen gas.

Captured over a total exposure time of 90 minutes with a Bortle 5 sky I was very pleased with the end result.

- Nikon Z6ii (unmodified)

- Tamron 70-200mm G2 lens at 200mm

- 90 x 60 second lights

- f/4

- ISO 1600

- Skywatcher Star Adventurer 2.0 (unguided)

- K&F Light Pollution Filter

- Edited in Siril with calibration frames (darks, flats & biases)

with adjustments in Photoshop and Lightroom.

Thank you for looking.
