This was found in a shoebox of old family photographs. I am trying to date the picture based on the techniques used for processing and mounting. It doesn't look like an albumin print and it has no evidence of silvering. Possibly a carbon print? The print itself is oval in shape and "glued" to a thin but firm piece of cardboard/cardstock. There are no studio logos or stamps on the front or back, just the name of a town written in pencil "Willow Glen, NY".
The scan I have on here doesn't do the photo justice; the amount of detail is amazing for a photograph of its age. Even the original uncompressed tiff scan doesn't show the detail of the original.
