Among several items of interest are:
The terminus of the Preston to Longridge Railway on Deepdale Road. This was the western extent of the line before the construction of the "Miley' tunnels
The inclusion of H. Winkles engravings of the North Union Railway Station and the Preston & Wyre Railway Viaduct.
The Moor Brook, seen at the very top of the map, running in the open. It was this watercourse that influenced the building of so many mills in the Adelphi district.
