Vineyards and Orchards. It used to be almost all fruit orchards in the Okanagan Valleyhere in BC but during the past 20 or more years the vineyards have been growing in numbers and size. Sometimes uncultivated land is developed for these new vineyards but increasingly it is orchard land that is being used to grow grapes. Rip out the fruit trees, throw in the grape vines....easy-peasy!
