boundaries
today i had a little mental breakdown. I have them once or twice a year, they're no fun - just when everything gets a little overwhelming.
My day started off badly - overslept, with 5 essays to do. I got out my camera and tripod to take my 365, only to find it broken and unmendable. So I had a little cry and had to go buy another one, came home, took my 365, edited it and hated its' guts, so deleted it. By now I had 3hrs to take another 365, do 5 essays and go to work. Then came the breakdown - so my mum had to cuddle me while I bawled my eyes out. I quit my job - I just don't have the time, because weekend evenings are the only spare time I have for school work now. I felt so bad, I've worked there since I was 14, and even though selling prints of my work is really fun, it's a little unpredictable and I never really know when I'll next have any money for things like broken tripods and airplane tickets.
Anyway, breakdown over, I've got the rest of the night to finish and start my essays, which is a big relief. Boundaries have been found, so now everything is a little easier!
... and thankyou all for the lovely comments on my hair. you'll be glad to hear that it's easily achievable, because they're just hair extensions. I lost my hair when I was 16 so I've been wearing them for what feels like forever. I get mine from Paul's Hair World in Manchester for £95. You can read more about it on my myspace blog here.
