AMSTERDAM CS – Dit is de nieuwe 110 meter lange fiets- en voetgangerstunnel onder het Station Amsterdam Centraal. De tunnel zorgt voor een snelle verbinding van het Centrum naar de IJveren. In de tunnel zijn het voetpad, de zijkant en het plafond boven het voetpad bekleed met ruim 77.000 geschilderde tegels, die een voorstelling geven van een oorlogsschip en een haringvloot.
AMSTERDAM CS – this is the new 110 metres long bicycle and pedestrian tunnel under the Amsterdam Central Station. The tunnel provides a fast connection from the Center to the IJ-Ferrys. In the tunnel are the footpath, the side and the ceiling above the footpath lined with more than 77000 painted tiles, which give a performance of a warship and a herring fleet.
