Safeguard TPA968X
The 10 service buses purchased by Safeguard of Guildford between 12/74 and 11/82 were all Duple Dominants and were all bought new. The penultimate bus in that run was TPA968X, a Leyland Leopard 53-seater seen here on a rainy day at Guildford bus station in June 1992.
Three more Dominants (2 secondhand and a final new purchase) were to arrive in 1985/6 before the company switched briefly to the Leyland Lynx.
