Former Safeway located at 124 Pleasant Run Shopping Center. in Lancaster,TX. The 19,846 square foot store opened for business on June 27th 1967. In 1987 this store along with numerous additional Safeway locations throughout the DFW metroplex were sold to Minyard's. Aside from a new decor package installed by Minyard, the store was relatively unchanged from it's days as Safeway. In the mid 2010's Minyard closed this store with the site continuing to sit vacant as of November 2022.
Note the "magic-carpet" doors remained in use until the store closed.
