Note Medallion opened this store on September 3rd 1962 and operated until August 12th 1976. After an extensive remodel the building was acquired by Target which officially opened for business in July 1977.
Note the wavy awning along with the unique mid-century decals on the facade of the building, all of which were removed when Target opened.
Note upon the 1977 opening of Target the "Medallion Center" name was retained and has continued to be used as of April 2022.
