Former Kmart Discount Store located at 5355 North Blackstone Ave. in Fresno,CA. This 75,000 square foot store opened on September 17th 1964 and was the 71st Kmart location to open thus far and the second in Fresno. The building seems to have been demolished (according to otterphoto) but the original K-MART sign facing Blackstone Ave. in still used by Circuit City which currently has a store on the site.
Circuit City DID have a store on the site but as of March 2009 will no longer be here or anywhere for that matter as the chain has officially anounced the closure of its 500+ stores nationwide.
