Lucky Store located at the Edgewood Shopping Center in Palo Alto,CA. This was one of the very few shopping centers designed by Joesph Eichler who was a pioneer in mid-century housing. This store was a victim along with 37 additional stores closed by Albertsons in August 2006. The expansive glass work was covered over at somepoint (possibly by Lucky during the 1990's). The future of this shopping center doesnt look good however things might turnaround.
