Blue hour over Fetsund lenser (booms)
The view goes over Norway's longest river, the Glomma, towards Fetsund church. In the foreground you can see some of the rest barracks from Fetsund booms, where the floaters ate their food and could rest before the next shift.
The barracks are moored in the river and you get there via the raft passage.
Log driving was stopped in 1985. Fortunately, the entire complex is now an open-air museum run by volunteers.
I took the photo on a cold day when the temperature was below minus 20 degrees.
