Boreray
Another from a recent trip to the Outer Hebrides.
I was fortunate enough to take a day trip to St Kilda which involves a lengthy sailing on what are typically rough unpredictable seas. It was challenging to say the least.
This picture, although not St Kilda, is from that day trip. It shows the foreboding, intimidating sea cliffs of the small uninhabited island of Boreray which sits about 4 miles north west of Hirta, the main island of the St Kilda archipelago.
It was a superb experience of a lifetime, even more so with the conditions I was fortunate enough to get throughout the day with beautiful swirling mists flowing between the ragged cliffs.
For anyone wondering there's nothing added or taken away, no deception. This picture is processed from one raw file only.
