R E V O L U T I O N. Kochi

“War is when the government tells you who the bad guy is. Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.”

A man reads a newspaper sitting in front of the legendary communist revolutionary, Che Guevara's cutout in Fort Kochi.

23rd March is the martyrdom of three of the greatest Indian revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru who were hanged on this day in 1931, while they all three were not even 24, charged with the killing of a British police officer who had ordered an assault which led to the death of a leading freedom fighter, Lala Lajpat Rai. Salutations to these and the countless other martyrs who laid down their lives for our Independence.
