Morning Declaration

Days have passed since my last photo shoot and there was a need to push myself to go out and shoot, and finally I succeeded today. So this was a place near my office which has a small lake and some trees by it side. The stray dogs in this area were much surprised by my visit and maybe they wanted to pose for me :-).

 

Just when the sun was rising a stray dog started declaring that the day has started. I have seen birds making sound at dawn but a dog barking at the same time was one of the rare opportunity and fortunately I was there to capture the moment.

 

This shot is not one of my sharpest of pictures and the light presented more difficulties for taking this shot while the camera was handheld but an okay shot for me. Another thing I learned was the fun of working with spot metering which can present so many different views with a change in focussing point. The shot might not be good and over edited but it did help me learn a couple of new things today.
