1954 Bugatti "Brown"

In 1954 this probably looked modern, but no doubt also a bit odd. It's a laminated polyester bodywork... or is it a sculpture? It is built on a pre-war Bugatti 57 chassis by Jacques Brown (1918 - 1991), a French painter and sculptor, living in Paris. It’s on display at Autoworld, Belgium’s national motor museum, in Brussels.
