'Marsyas' by Anish Kapoor

Anish Kapoor: Marsyas 2002. Exhibited at the Tate Modern's turbine hall. Kapoor was born in India in 1954 and appears to specialise in producing superficially attractive, but meaningless, brightly-coloured objects. Once this space held turbines — technological artifacts representing immense human achievement; here it is reduced to a fairground.
