UA175 - September 11, 2001
Unintentional stereo pairs can be formed by images taken by two people at the same time. The photo on the left was taken by Carmen Taylor from a ferry docked at Battery Park, New York City, just a split second before flight UA175 crashed into the south tower of the World Trade Center on 9/11/2001. The image on the right is one frame from a video shot by Michael Hezarkhani at the same time, apparently on the same ferry about 20 feet to Taylor's left.
(Cross-eyed stereo.)
