Patch upon patch

I turned back and caught sight of the aluminum, new and rusty iron but also the fiberglass plastic corrugated siding intended to shield the window on the east of the old barn. Why? In any case the patch over the open window is failing as if it makes a difference on this pole barn. I suppose you noticed I like the patina and the textures found around this old barn, I decided to include different versions of the visible cladding in the edges; it looks like a tin man hit ol' Broley up for new siding! I like to engage the tin man crowd on the phone when they call and usually ask if their vinyl is like the stuff on an old car roof. I treated the siding and black interior to RAW layers and the technique I use a lot now just like I did the clouds example I showed earlier. I find I can exploit the textures on any surface. I may visit the barn yet again even before the weather cools in the fall. I finished the chokecherry episodes and have plenty of juice in the refrigerator to turn into jelly and syrup. But that left a lot of captures unprocessed for a heck of a backlog. That's right logs are stopping me from getting to my stash of unedited shots.

The next excursion might be any day late summer this year considering recent heat and skies. I just accompanied the Edster (not Edsel) up to Wyoming to capture #844 hauling the Cheyenne Frontier Days Train - he got run over! I told him to back off the tracks! And I forgot to bring Russ up with us! We were skunked by the clouds and skies for the duration. Any shots were pointed away from any accumulation of clouds. In any case, I got treated to two triple digit days in a row and was frazzled when I got back. I have low expectations for the shots from that excursion. Today, I am hiding inside in the A/C; another triple digit day was forecast this morning. The President is flying in today to give comfort for the Aurora theater shootings. I ask myself, "What would Boy George do?" Some one in New Orleans answered and said he was Boy George's pet goat.
