We were down in London for a few days over the weekend mainly doing the tourist thing;) We based ourselves in Richmond again which for us is a really nice location and only a short distance from Richmond Park. We were up really early on Sunday morning in the hope of seeing a little bit of mist but that wasn't to be but still a nice morning.
The is a shot of the Royal Oak, one of the many ancient trees within the park, and is estimated at around 750 years old. It has a fence around it, so this view was low down through the fence using the ferns to frame the tree. As I mentioned I had hoped for mist which would have worked really well here to soften the back ground...maybe next time.
