Ruby-tailed Wasp (chrysis ignita)

I came across this little gem when I was in a restaurant. It was running up and down the window, trying to get out, having presumably come in through an open door. Needless to say, I rescued it, and took it home to photograph. To avoid the glittering glare of the bright daylight on its metallic surface, I photographed it in my conservatory, using of course, a small table covering.
