From the Perspective of Miss Muffet
Unfortunately my usual girls under the strobe lights fell victim to the heavy rain and very cold change in weather recently, so I had to head to under the bridge where the railings at the canal are an absolute treasure trove for these little monsters. I think the reason they position themselves there, besides the ease of web spinning with the solid metal foundations, is because the insects are very much attracted to the water's edge. There are also a lot of bats in this area as well, so go figure.
