Point of Attention
I attended with my partner a lecture in Berlin last Sunday, at a Buddhist Temple presented by a Kadampa Teacher, this was in regards to the practice of Meditation, Calmness and Mindfulness.
When I arrived I was really tired, cranky and had a headache, when I left after some 4 hours of meditation practice and advice, I was whistling happy tunes, headache gone and was completely re-energised. It's remarkable how a few moments of peace and self reflection can alter everything.
The photo incidentally is from my last holiday in Schierke, central Germany, that I felt was fitting to the mood. Hence the title, I think sometimes we do allow too much externalism to overcome our inner peace (guilty as charged), make yourself the utmost point of attention and find inner peace. Trust me, it works.
I hope everyone's week is going well and so as always, thank you! :)
