The Incredible Lightness of Being

‘Filter’ is a sculpture by Sir Antony Gormley that hovers over the staircase at Manchester Art Gallery. He describes the work as "a meditation on the relationship between the core of the body and space at large".

 

With this photo I have used intentional camera movement so Gormley's 'body' appears to be rising above the three people on the stairs.
