Quicksilver Dogwoods (Yosemite)
I spent a lot of time last month shooting the dogwood trees on both sides of the Merced River; in the morning, when this one was shot, I was able to pick up some nice blue and purple tints/reflections in the water on most of my images, but a few were shot in a spot where I got zero color in the water whatsoever. I ended up liking these more than I thought I would, as the monochrome look of the water gives nice contrast to the green leaves.
