WIN_20141225_153310 - Cycle Ride to Exmouth

Technology gets everywhere these days. Didn't have such things when I did the trail.

This QR code links to:

* Walks from Queen's Drive, Exmouth - 'www.' (blank page?)

* Walks from Queen's Drive, Exmouth - 'm.' mobile edition

The information provided isn't exactly what I expected. These are circular walks, and not the South West Coast Path, as one might expect from the given information.

As described, they don't actually start from this point, but Exmouth Railway Station, although the walks, of which there are two, do pass through this point. High quality maps are provided, and these incorporate GPS functionality, so this can be used to follow your position as you undertake the walk.

The non-mobile link I've provided above is actually showing a blank page. To locate walks near here enter 'Exmouth' from the 'Walk Finder' link on this page, and search the returned set of walk routes for the two walks that this QR code mobile link references. I could actually only find one of them, and therefore have included web links to the walks below.

All in all, a good idea, and a step in the right direction, but a little way to go before this is optimised.

These are the two walks that the QR mobile code references:

1. Avocet Line: Exmouth Seafront - 4.4 miles (7.1 km)

2. Avocet Line: Exmouth to Orcombe Point - 5.4 miles (8.7 km)
