Golden Galleon Pub at Exceat
Beware the utterly appalling Golden Galleon pub by the bridge at Exceat. Tragically it's the only pub in the Cuckmere Valley south of the excellent Plough and Harrow at Littlington which is easily worth the three mile muddy trek in order to avoid the Galleon's grisly mock countryside decor, service by morons, mediocre beer, repulsive reheated, overpriced food and the opportunity to be royally ripped off and made to feel a mug for having gone into the only pub for miles!
