We went down the escalator and ended up at this beautiful underground subway station. One with big lights, a wooden floor and lost-looking people. Some waiting, others walking around trying to make time go by faster. I found myself looking at waiting people again, just like I did earlier. I realized that no matter were you go, there will always be people waiting for something.
For the train, for the paint to dry, to fall asleep, for that one special person, anything.
Right after I took this picture, a guy came up to me and told me we weren't allowed to take any pictures there. He took a quick glance at my camera and realized it was one of those 'old' ones and said something like, "carry on". I wonder if he would have made me delete it if I had a digital camera with me. Ah well, hooray for film!
