Photography as therapy
Ever have a horribly stressful day? Of course. Too many of us have plenty of them, regardless of an abundance of blessings. Today was one of those days for me, ranging from overflowing toilets to online scammers and more. So, when I got a break after six hours of crap, I grabbed my X-T2 and a recently purchased (used and beat-up) Fuji 35mm 1.4 lens. Walking outside, I took a generic pic of an empty pot in our yard. The pic is nothing to brag about, but it was therapy. We all take photos for enjoyment, and sometimes the process can help offset the stress we face. When I returned to the house a few moments later, I had a fresher attitude towards all the chaos, and I thank photography for making this happen.
