Hyperion Bungalow

I was at a function on Wednesday night, March 16. It took place in the evening, at Walt Disney Studios. My friend and I parked at the Zorro Lot, on the Riverside entrance of the studio, and we walked the distance (which wasn't that much) to the Frank Wells Building. We were in a hurry, but I managed to grab this shot with my phone.

This is the only thing left from the original Walt Disney Studio, which was on Hyperion Avenue, a bit west of Glendale. The studio existed from the 1920s until 1940, when the new studio (where this photo was taken) was finished,

I was hoping to grab a few more shots, but there wasn't the time, and by the time our event was done it was too dark to get anything good.

NOTE: I worked at the studio, from 2000 until 2009. It wasn't steady work, but it must have been a total of five years I worked there. I didn't get my first digital camera until December of 2009, so I missed out on grabbing some photos with my point-and-shoot Canon. I do have a few other photos, and you might find them somewhere here on Flickr. But it was great to be back, if only for a short while.
