Table For... None
Katsuya is (or was) a pretty popular restaurant at the Americana. It's also pricey, but apparently enough people would eat here to keep the business thriving. It has not been the case these last eight months. There was a brief time the place did reopen, but, like so many restaurants that did, reports of new cases of coronavirus would pop up, thus forcing other restaurants (like this one) to shut down, going with takeout and pickup only.
Small tables are set up for patrons to eat their takeout or pickup dinners. Many of them are placed far enough apart to maintain social distancing. They are also placed close to the trolley tracks, as the trolley is no longer in use, and has not been in use for more than eight months. This will be a Christmas unlike any we have seen in our lifetime.
