Melina Rodriguez is first and foremost a proud daughter of immigrants from Mexico who came here with nothing but a tiny backpack full of their belongings in hopes for a better future for themselves and their family. She is a worker, a student and a member of the ANSWER Coalition.
ANSWER Coalition, Act Now to Stop War and End Racism, is a national organization dedicated to the fight against racism and imperialism, internationally and here at home. ANSWER organizes connecting the fight for social justice at home and in opposition to war and occupation abroad, from the local battles against police brutality to the international campaigns against militarism and war.
