A Clockwork Orange, Manhattan, and Other Films on the Subway Wall

If you live in L.A. and travel by mass transit, you may have stopped at the 7th and Metro Station in downtown L.A. The second busiest hub (the first being Union Station), the 7th and Metro Station provides links to the Blue Line, Expo Line, the Red and Purple Lines, and the many buses on the streets, including the Silver Line, Metro Express, and the Dash. That said, when one exits (or enters) the station they will see these images on the tile walls. There are two different sets; one is at the Hope Street Exit, and the other is at the Figueroa Street Exit. This is at the Hope exit. I do not know who the artist is, but the work melds different classic films into a single vast mural that stretches across the wall. This is just one portion of it, mixing images from Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange" with Woody Allen's "Manhattan," along with other classic films.
