Oh, Shadow Lines in Black and White....
...come to me, when I hold tight
the little control knob of my delight~
my camera lens has you well within sight..
This was a real capture, processed into BW in PS CS4. No special effects added.
The shadow lines are caused by the sun coming up over a mountain, shining slanted rays of light down into the valley, which are caught in the fog. These line, of course, are visible to the naked eye (natch).
Short answer: Awesome!
