Bogdan Cigarettes can kill
Cigarettes can kill, in the 90's around a table with friends in the French Alps. One member Bogdan was ask what life was like growing up in Romania. Bogdan recalled the time he was ask in the fall of Spring to trek across to the next village where he buy loose cigarettes. He carry these in two pillow cases thrown across a donkeys back.
On route his father explain he might meet a wild boar, so gave him a spear with a piece of wood stuck near the end, the wood was at right angles and the idea if the wild boar did charge hold your ground dig in the spear and if the boar goes through the spear it stop at the piece of wood at right angles. Age 14 Bogdan now a man and ready to make the crossing to collect those valuable loose cigarettes for his entire village!
