A Fine Art Photograph of the old wooden sign for the Oatman Hotel on Route 66 in Oatman Arizona. The town is named after Olive Oatman who had been captured by Indians and held for some time and then released. The hotel was made famous as the honeymoon stop for Clark Gable and Carole Lombard, who stayed in room 15 after their wedding, which occurred in 1939 in nearby Kingman, Arizona. Whether this actually happened is in dispute. Though Oatman is considered a ghost town, it is a tourist attraction, notably for the wild burros who wander freely though the town. It is close to Laughlin, NV, Bullhead City, AZ and Needles, CA.
