But what a great name, THE FREEWAY MOTEL---how incredibly inviting. Images pop into one's head of sirens whizzing by, accidents, the sound of ambulances sounding their bass notes, death, traffic jams, the honking clatter of impatient drivers and the gray air that surrounds everything. Yes, indeed, a place for a perfect night's rest. For the "Freeway" buffs who are somehow enchanted by these mega thorough fares, this would be the perfect photo to have. It has that wonderful patina of the older 1940s and 1950s motel signs that have been weathered by pollution and the environs. it would give your home a tired, out of touch feel.
