Members of Commando Helicopter Force & Joint Helicopter Command who are deployed to Bardufoss, Norway all complete the CWSC which teaches all military personnel how to live and survive in a cold weather environment whilst operate tactically. The ice breaking drill is the final part of the course where students are taught how to recover themselves and vital equipment should they break through the ice unexpectedly
