HMS WESTMINSTER HOSTS COCKTAIL RECEPTION FOR TANZANIAN HIGH COMMISSIONER

 

Whilst alongside Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, HMS Westminster hosted an evening cocktail reception in which various VIPs and dignitaries including the Tanzanian High Commissioner was in attendance. The High Commissioner Ms Diana Melrose spoke with members of the Ship's Company about their deployment so far and about their upcoming visits.

HMS Westminster's visit in Tanzania will also include LEDET training conducted by the Ship's own boarding teams, community work in local schools, a rugby match against local expats and also a chance for members of the Ship's Company to experience a safari in the surrounding area.

HMS Westminster will continue with her operational commitments in the area and is due to return to the Uk in February.
