Antony Gormley statue at Kimmeridge, Dorset 210515 (6)

The statue is by Antony Gormley (famous for the Angel of the North) and stands on the coastline at Kimmeridge Bay, Dorset. It is 2 m in height and is one of five around the country which are marking the 50th anniversary of the Landmark Trust. The trust is a charity that restores buildings at risk and then lets them out for holidays. On the cliff top above the statue is Clavell Tower which was not only restored but re-sited due to coastal erosion.
