Hands of Faith

This has got to be one of my favourite shots from Uganda. This shot I had in my head before I even went to Uganda, but I never thought it would come out so well. I was so happy with it I got a canvas print of it for my wall.

 

I love that there appears to be three shades, black of the skirt (background) and then the grey and white of the hands. The most challenging bit of editing this photo was finding a balance between blowing out the whites but bringing the dark hands out of the background.
