Milky Way, from New Hampshire's White Mountains

Arriving in New Hampshire's White Mountains back in October, we were greeted with a stunningly clear night. I had no idea you could get views like this in the north east US: the hazy glow of the milky way arcing across the sky was spectacular, and only a couple of hours drive from Boston.
