Where I live the air is filled with smoke
from numerous bushfires and the sky
has a strange orange glow from the
muted sun which can be viewed directly
without harming your eyes.
The whole scene looks surreal, as if the
world is ending. As if all this time we've
been trying to hold back the tide and now
our illusion is obvious.
