For a Thousand Years...
For a thousand years, human beings have stood on this cliff overlooking Hanalei Bay to watch the sunsets. I've only seen it for a small fraction of that, but no matter how many times I've watched the sun go down from here, it never gets old.
Sometimes a sailboat goes by, sometimes a sailing canoe or one that's paddled, sometimes a surfer is out there...sometimes clouds, sometimes clear, a few times a green flash, and sometimes rain; it's always the same yet never the same.
