Poignant Poppies!
Yesterday, along with 1000's of other people we went to see the poppy installation at the Tower Of London - "Blood Swept Lands And Seas Of Red" - created by ceramic artist Paul Cummins and theatre stage designer Tom Piper.
The first of the 888,246 poppies – one for each person killed in the First World War – was placed in June, by a yeoman warden resident at the Tower of London, and the final one will be “planted” on Armistice Day, November 11.
It is an amazing and very poignant sight!
