This is my favorite gun in the whole game, and quite possibly the most powerful Scout Rifle in the entire game. It was one of the first Legendary guns I acquired, though as you can see from the tree it was not the standard one for sale at the Vanguard Armory.
With the absurdly high impact combined with Firefly and Field Scout, this thing is a beast that just won't stop. I can decimate groups. I can stop individuals. I can mow through most enemies like they're not even there.
Now, you might scoff at the low rate of fire and the poor stability. But here's the thing - they're perfectly matched. By the time the gun settles back down, it's ready to fire again right where I had my sights. That means it is WAY more accurate than it first appears. And that sight, the FLA5, means all I have to do is have someone's head somewhere within the quarter circles, and it explodes. The further away they are, the easier they are to hit. I don't know if it's a bug or what, but Bungie has yet to change it.
Despite the 300 damage handicap, it STILL has more punch than the 365 weapons. Imagine what it'll do once I get my first Etheric Light.
Yet in the next update, Bungie is convinced I'm not having fun with this gun and wants I should leave it behind.
