A rainny night in Texas...
....
Last week or two, have gone by like a blur ... daytime looks like nighttime & vice versa
(Absent due to work)
A photo taken, a couple of evenings ago on my way home. We often hear: Texas is like a whole other country; it is true friends. You can go from one part of our state; under beautiful sky sunshine galore... Drive a couple of hours, as I normally do to and from my brother’s place…The weather can be totally different. Some grueling last few days for me; repairing fences, water-gaps damaged by the rain (We don’t mind any rain we get in our area otherwise dry as a bone…) But, I am reminded by my wife: “You are not 40 yrs old anymore Ricky” As if it’s something I wanna be reminded of when working on fences…hauling cattle, rounding up strays and who knows what else I've had to do last five days due to rain...everything is like a dream~
The dialogue went something like...
Me: What date is today? All my days-nights seems to roll into one sweetie...
My wife: That's because you've been working too much; need a break, do you want me to call someone?
Me: NO! I can handle it...
My wife: Are you sure? I think you need some help Ricky; don't be stubborn...
Me: Sweetie, gotta go to the chiropractor; have him work on my back its killing me!
My wife: You are not 40 anymore; remember?
Me: I don’t wanna know how old I am…
My wife: MEN!!!
Me: WOMEN!!!
Both of us: Sorry…Kiss kiss rainny night...
Work, is a blessing in disguise~
