Some people have told me recently; Ours is a way of life out of touch with reality; it's a dying out of touch way of life; it's on the last leg…I say to those people: For this ‘ol boy, this is the only way to live! This is my life; the way I wanna spend the rest of my days so just let me be and we’ll get along fine! My brother and I have seen recently; several neighboring families selling out their homestead for development all around us…

 

Younger generation wanna live in the city; who knows why? Then, I remember being in their shoes many years ago. I didn’t wanna be in Texas; I didn’t like being thought of as a Texan…
