For my one & only LOVE!

♪♪♪♪

Lately when I'm in my room, all by myself

in the solitary gloom, I call to myself

Hey there you with the stars in your eyes

love never made a fool of you

you use to be too wise

hey there you on that high flyin cloud

though he won't throw a crumb to you

you think someday he'll come to you

better forget him, him with his nose in the air

he has you dancin on a string

break it and he won't care

won't you take this advice I hand you like a mother

or are you not seein things to clear

are you too much in love to hear

is it all goin in one ear and out the other

hey there you with the stars in your eyes

spoken (Are you talking to me?)

love never made a fool of you

(Not until now)

you used to be too wise

(Yes, I was once)

will you take this advice I hand you like a mother

or am i not seein things to clear

are you just too far gone to hear

is it all goin in one ear and out the other

My wife and I stood watching our children but Charles in particular. As he stands at a distance is like being in a time capsule of my own making...

I am only a work in progress, I continue searching every day; learning, making changes but I realize now the value of family.

On the day we returned back home via Houston, Texas; we spent a few days in the city which neither my son or daughter hade ever seen; neither was born in Texas nor have they spent much time in my native state. Most of the sights were to either; realizing how much they like cultural places we took them to a specific exhibit including one I knew my son would like very much. The Houston museums are considered by many top notch...our son stood by the ENERGY section in display. I couldn’t help to get a little choked up seeing ‘im stand by; admiring what they like most! He stood there as I realized perhaps for the first time in his adult life; how much he looks like me...I was glad no one noticed my face at this time. It is a moment of pure undiluted pride-joy to realize he stood and walks like his old man. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree~
